SIMPPLE's 2-in-1 Multi-functional Robots

SINGAPORE, NOVEMBER 15, 2023 – SIMPPLE Ltd. (NASDAQ: SPPL, “SIMPPLE”, “the Company”), an advanced technology solution provider in the PropTech industry, is taking facility management to new heights with the launch of its proprietary 2-in-1 Multi-Functional (Cleaning and Security) Robot. The new robot is set to transform the way facility owners and service contractors manage resources, streamline workflows, and enhance security.

This ground-breaking innovation will be added into the SIMPPLE PLUS offerings, comprising complimentary peripherals such as Internet-of-Things (IoT) sensors and robotics that add value to the entire SIMPPLE Ecosystem. The 2-in-1 multi-functional robot was designed to meet a wider range of facilities management requirements. Built upon the base of the cleaning robot, the patent-pending modular robot head is able to complement the operations of the security workforce by conducting site surveillance and security patrols.

After successful pilots at a few commercial premises, the 2-in-1 multi-functional robot ensures a comprehensive on-site security coverage and enables quicker incident response. The robot also facilitates a two-way communication between the security workforce and on-site occupants, enabling timely reactions to various incidents. In the event of an incident, the robot will trigger alerts to the security workforce and reflect them on the complementary software suite (SIMPPLE Software). Through this, SIMPPLE reimagines the way facility managers operate through advanced technologies to deliver higher value-added performance and enable a smarter and safer environment for everyone.

“The modular security head will be a game-changer in the world of robotics. Cleaning robots can now double up as security guards during their downtime, thereby increasing its efficiency in the facilities management industry,” Aloysius Chong, CEO of SIMPPLE, said. “We are excited to see the proliferation of robotics in different forms and functions that can aid the workforce to enable Smart Building Automation in facilities and buildings.”
